I usually post a sneak peak of what's to come on the blog via Instagram @Anneconventional. I’ll enter a caption that tells a story or what my thoughts are depending on the image. And I am big on quotes.

This image on the blog cover resonated with a lot of people on my Instagram post. This was the caption was from an Alexander McQueen. One of the most talented, phenomenal Fashion Designers’ of the 21st century. Gone too soon.

  This  rings true today on so many levels

I have always been a big believer of doing what works for you. The beauty of us being different individuals is that everyone comes with their own perspective, an angle, a story. We dress to reflect who we are and  what we want to tell the world. My personality is quite colorful and I always want my style to reflect that. The bold prints, bright hues, patterns, they all tell a narrative.

What is your personal style. Look closely and it will tell you a story.

Today, I am rocking a mix and match of everything. I have been wanting to wear this checkered wrap dress forever and I don’t want to wait until the weather is perfect. This is where layering comes in. Jean and a tee – ok that could work. Want to infuse some color and prints, rock a dress with it, then throw one some shoes that say Hello, it’s me in that Adele voice.
