Every time I think of leather the terms tough, macho, or no nonsense comes to mind. Designers this season tapped into Rooney Mara’s character in the Girl with the dragon tattoo. Clingy dresses, studded Leather bodices, and armored pants can be a little bit intimidating even to myself. However, I decided to challenge my self and try this trend out. My way…

It’s been a little bit cold the past few days, so when the sun came out today I knew my pencil leather skirt should too. I absolutely love it. Its beautifully made with a little flounce detail on the back that won me over. I spun a lady-like feel to it donning purple asymmetrical pumps and a sequined sweater top.
